This machine increases our 1200 ton capacity at our Twinsburg, Ohio casting plant. ITL Machinery Services performed many upgrades to the machine including a Visi-Trak HMI with shot control and Olmstead valve. The machine is extraordinarily energy efficient and quiet. It uses servo motors to drive the pumps which only operate when pressure is needed.  We're also installing an energy efficient gas furnace in this cell.  It uses a recuperative burner which preheats the combustion air with exhaust gases. This will be the most energy efficient cell we have installed to date. The machine will be completely automated with a Fanuc 6-axis robot. We plan to have this machine operational later this summer.
